Matt started in the appliance repair business in 1994 when he was hired at Grant’s Appliance in Dexter, Maine, at the age of 14. At 18, Matt started Scott’s Appliance and ran that company for eight years. In 2006, Matt laid eyes on a heat pump with inverter technology and shortly after, at the age of 26, became an owner at Dave’s World. He has since been an intrigal part of the heat pump growth in the United States and is very proud to work side by side with the manufacturers and vendors responsible for supplying the technology. Matt’s biggest accomplishment remains raising his two beautiful daughters, Graci Mae, and Laney Liv, and being able to work with his two business partners, supporting over 90 employees in the State of Maine. Matt cares very much for every member of the Dave’s World family and looks forward to a long career with the company.
